About the Role:The Medical Surgical Patient Care Technician will work in partnership with the registered nurse to support the delivery of care in a safe patient environment that promotes caring and healing.Responsibilities:

• Work with the registered nurse to deliver care in a safe patient environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Document data as directed and report observations and patient concerns.
• Ensure all safety precautions are observed.
• Obtain and record patients' vital signs.
• Monitor patients and report their condition at regular intervals.
• Assist patients with mobility and basic tasks.
• Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment.Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic Life Support.
  • Competent to perform in at least two general areas of practice.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Minimum of two years of experience in acute or long-term care.
    • Completion of approved CNA, PCT or paramedic certification.
