Job Description:
OverviewHillcrest Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nuclear
Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine
Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing
high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our
medical imaging department.Responsibilities
- Coordinate Radiopharmaceuticals: Ensure the proper handling and
administration of radiopharmaceuticals for patient procedures.
- Administer Radiopharmaceuticals and Medications: Safely
administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging
and therapeutic procedures.
- Patient Education: Explain imaging procedures to patients and
ensure they understand their role in the process.
- Image Acquisition: Maintain a high standard of imaging and
positioning to acquire high-quality scans.
- PACS System Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in operating
the PACS Computer System.
- Department Support: Assist with other activities as deemed
necessary for the operation of the department.Qualifications
- Registration and Certification: Must be registered with the
American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) with advanced
certification in Nuclear Medicine or be a graduate of an approved
School of Nuclear Medicine Technology and be registry
eligible.
- Availability: Must be available for 24-hour call back with a
