How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

As a Purchasing Expeditor, you will complete a daily review of hardgood vendor purchase orders that require expediting and update vendor ship dates on our PO documents in SAP. You will be a part of a team that supports all Airgas Distribution Centers and regional companies throughout the U.S.

This position has a hybrid work arrangement with scheduled days in our downtown Tulsa office combined with days available to work from home, after initial training.

• Utilizes the PO Expedite Vendor Template to communicate with vendors in obtaining ship dates for open purchase orders.
  
• Updates Delivery Date fields on Airgas purchase order documents in SAP.
  
• Utilize SAP Expedite T-codes to proactively address purchase orders that are not yet past due.
  
• Communicates with order writers and/or branch associates, including branch managers, when necessary.
  
• Utilizes the Airgas Expedite Tracking Database to monitor purchase order for compliance to delivery expectations, identify vendors with a pattern of late ships, and to identify products that are trending toward supply shortages.

  Are you a MATCH?
  
  
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree may be substituted in lieu of some work experience.
    
  • 1 to 3 years high volume Customer Service and/or Accounts Receivable experience.
    
  • Basic knowledge of Google Suite or Microsoft, including Excel. Experience with SAP and/or ERP systems a plus.
    
  • Strong "client service" mindset and the ability to use collaborative and non-adversarial approaches in achieving diverse goals.
