Job Description:

**Plant Operations Technician II at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Oklahoma City**

We are seeking a skilled Plant Operations Technician II to join our team at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Oklahoma City. This role involves operating and performing repairs and preventive maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems, boilers, and power plant equipment.

**Job Responsibilities:**

* Monitor and operate facility equipment and power plant machinery following defined procedures
* Perform scheduled inspections of various equipment for preventive maintenance programs and maintain records per policy
* Repair broken water and/or steam lines and install new lines
* Perform water and air balancing to ensure proper distribution per system design
* Overhaul and maintain all types of pumps, including centrifugal, rotor, positive displacement, and multiple stage feed pumps
* Overhaul and maintain multiple stage air compressors
* Overhaul and maintain hot water heating systems
* Clean and repair pneumatic and low voltage regulating controls, steam pressure control valves, various types of heat exchangers, and electrical motors and vacuum pumps
* Maintain and upgrade the building automation system and integral components to the system
* Perform troubleshooting and make adjustments to control strategies as conditions change
* Perform maintenance welding and occasional silver soldering and brazing, and sweat copper as needed

**Requirements:**

* Two years' experience
* Journeyman mechanical license is required
* Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
* Physical requirements include constant standing and walking, frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs, and occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs
