DescriptionLocated in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Reworld Tulsa is an
award-winning Waste-to-Energy Facility that serves the Tulsa area
with reliable and sustainable waste management.The Maintenance
Planner and Scheduler is responsible for developing comprehensive
job plans and daily and weekly maintenance schedules for the
Mechanical and Instrument/Electrical departments. This position
reports to the facility Maintenance Manager. This individual will
plan, schedule and coordinate corrective and preventative
maintenance activities and will assist in determining job
priorities. The Planner will ensure that ALM PeopleSoft data files
are completed and current. Convert service requests to work orders
and assign the appropriate account numbers/codes. In addition, this
position will assist with procurement and stores control by
obtaining quotes and ordering parts for outages. They will work
closely with the purchasing agent to ensure parts and materials are
available for work orders and outages. They will help identify,
analyze and review equipment maintenance problems and assist in
educating operations, facility personnel or vendors/contractors in
maintenance management and outage planning. Key
Responsibilities:
- Daily planning and scheduling of all maintenance activities on
boilers, turbine-generator, and balance of plant equipment.
- Long-term and outage planning and scheduling of all maintenance
activities on boilers, turbine-generator, and balance of plant
equipment.
- Development of comprehensive job plans as driven by job
complexity.
- Publishing of daily and weekly maintenance schedules.
- Publishing and updating of daily outage schedule and resource
loading / progress charts to report out on outage status in
Primavera P6.
- Administration of work order system including managing backlog,
providing appropriate status on items, strategically working
through backlog planning, and providing routine backlog reports as
requested.
- Ensuring appropriate history is maintained in work order
system.
- Developing and managing preventative maintenance tasks to
ensure appropriate tasks and task frequencies exist for all
equipment and are properly planned and scheduled as opportunities
arise.
- In conjunction with storekeeper, ensuring proper inventory
management and availability of parts for assigned tasks.
- Managing conflicting work priorities of team to ensure critical
dates are met.
- Reporting out at prescribed frequencies on key performance
indicators.
- Monitor and coordinate completion of required Technical
Standards inspections.
- Provide assistant to Storekeeper to include, inventory min/max,
spare parts.
- Assist with procurement by sourcing critical parts and
equipment, and obtaining quotes.
- Develop and revise standard specifications for outage scope
work.
- Contact vendors and contractors for quotes on outage and
contractor work.
- Ensure staging of parts for planned and scheduled work and
outages.
- Assist with equipment inspections during scheduled and
unscheduled outages.
- Developing and improving upon existing maintenance work
processes.
- Creating an environment that empowers employees to drive system
improvements and perform reliability-centered maintenance.
- Engaging team in and allowing team to accomplish behavior-based
safety program goals and requirements.Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in power or industrial plant
maintenance is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in planning and coordinating
major maintenance/overhaul projects is required.
- Experience with a CMMS System and scheduling software is
required.
- Experience with Oracle Peoplesoft or Primavera P6 is
preferred.
- Candidate must have strong computer skills, particularly in
Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Candidate must be able to meet all job requirements, including
but not limited to working from heights, climbing, working in
extreme conditions, and use of all required personal protective
equipment for up to 12 hours at a time.
- Candidate must be available to provide support during scheduled
annual major outages.
- Experience in power generation, utility operations, or Energy
from Waste is preferred.
- High School diploma is required.Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop,
kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone,
and keyboard.
- Occasionally the Position requires working near and around
operating mechanical parts and mobile equipment and is frequently
exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibrations.
- Occasionally ascends or descends ladders, stairs, elevated
walkways, ramps, and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and
arms.Schedule:Monday- Friday Days; with additional days/hours
